Ó Donnghaile encourages people to watch Ulster Final on City Hall ‘Big Screen’

18 July, 2012

Sinn Féin Councillor Niall Ó Donnghaile has encouraged Belfast Gaels to enjoy Sunday’s Ulster Senior Football Final by watching the game live on City Hall’s Big Screen.

Speaking today Cllr Ó Donnghaile said;

“The Big Screen has proven a popular draw for people for all kinds of important sporting events in recent times, whether the Golf or the European Soccer Championships, and of course the Ulster Senior Football Final is the most important fixture in the province for Gaelic Football fans.

I would encourage people to get out of the house and enjoy a sporting day in Belfast City Centre.

I would also encouraged local sports fans who may not have had the opportunity to experience the GAA before to avail of this fantastic opportunity.

There will no doubt be much interest in the fortunes of Down and Donegal this Sunday and if you can’t make it to Clones for the game itself then where better to be than watching the final in the heart of Belfast.” CRÍOCH
