Adams extends condolences to family of PSNI officer
Sinn Féin president, Gerry Adams TD, speaking during Leader’s Questions this afternoon in the Dáil extended his condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of PSNI officer Phillipa Reynolds who was killed in the early hours of Saturday morning in Derry.
The Sinn Féin leader said:
“Ceann Comhairle, before dealing with the issues I want to raise with the Taoiseach this afternoon, can I ask him and the Dáil to join with me in expressing our condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of PSNI officer Constable Phillipa Reynolds, who died in the early hours of last Saturday morning when her car was hit by a stolen vehicle.
“This was a young woman who had joined the PSNI two years ago and like Garda Adrian Donohoe, was dedicated to serving the community and protecting citizens.”
