Fianna Fáil using Seanad referendum for its own narrow interests
Sinn Féin European Election candidate Matt Carthy has accused Fianna Fail of using the Seanad referendum for its own narrow interests after posters went up this week which profile local Fianna Fáil election candidates.
Speaking this afternoon Councillor Carthy said;
“Fianna Fáil can't help but use the Seanad for their own narrow interests as can be seen by their use of campaign posters profiling local election candidates.
“This is no different to how they have always used the Seanad for their own benefit.
“It’s time to get rid of this Fianna Fáil prop – vote yes to abolish the Seanad on October 4th.”
