Martin McGuinness to urge votes for citizens in the north for presidential elections
The Constitutional Convention reconvenes tomorrow and Sunday in Dublin to discuss giving citizens resident outside the State the right to vote in presidential elections.
The Sinn Féin delegation will be Gerry Adams TD, Martin McGuinness Deputy First Minister and Mary Lou McDonald TD.
Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness will address the convention on Saturday afternoon when he will strongly recommend that Irish citizens living north of the border be given votes in future presidential elections.
The Sinn Féin delegation will arrive at the Grand Hotel in Malahide at 9am on Saturday morning.
