Sinn Féin to hold Border Conference
Sinn Féin Newry/Armagh MP Conor Murphy has announced that the Party is to host a Border Conference at the Tí Chulainn Centre in South Armagh tomorrow October 25th beginning at 10.30 am.
Conor Murphy said:
“In response to growing interest over recent months on the issues of a border poll and the viability of all-Ireland economic integration Sinn Féin is hosting a Border Conference tomorrow in the Tí Chulainn Centre in South Armagh.
“Among the speakers will be Michael Curran, Director of Economic Development and Future Planning at Louth Co Council and Ruth Taillon, Director of The Centre for Cross Border Studies.
“Gerry Adams TD will give an overview of progress on the Sinn Féin Uniting Ireland Strategy and MEP Martina Anderson will give a presentation on EU Structural Funds and the benefits of the island of Ireland being treated as a single entity in Europe.
“The proceedings will conclude at 3.30 pm”
