Sinn Féin James Connolly School to address water charges crisis

7 November, 2014

The way forward in the campaign against the water charges will be one of the topics for debate at Dublin Sinn Féin's Annual James Connolly School this Saturday 8 November. Dublin Sinn Féin MEP Lynn Boylan will speak on this issue.

Speaking on the eve of the event which is from 1pm to 5pm in the Unite union hall in Middle Abbey Street, Sinn Féin City Councillor Mícheál Mac Donncha, chair of the Dublin Sinn Féin 1916 Committee, said:

"The Government is in crisis because of its arrogant imposition of water charges, the last straw of austerity for the Irish people who have had to bear far too much. The way forward in the campaign, which we believe can and will be won, will be addressed at the James Connolly School.

"We will also be discussing the campaign to save Moore Street, the Housing Crisis, Irish Unity and the prospects for a Left Republican Government. The event is open to the public and free of charge."
