Where does SDLP stand on Armagh bomb attack?
Sinn Féin MLA Mickey Brady has called on SDLP deputy leader Dolores Kelly to state whether she is prepared to stand with the people of South Armagh against the criminals who are attacking the local community.
Mr Brady said,
“In a radio interview this morning Dolores Kelly embarked on a trademark tirade of abuse against Sinn Féin rather than condemn the criminals who are operating along the border.
“The SDLP is obviously feeling the pressure over their roll-over on the National Crime Agency where they failed to secure the necessary accountability mechanisms.
“The confirmation by the Chief Commissioner of the Gardaí that Republicans are not involved in criminality along the border area only reinforces the need for the community to stand strong against these gangs.
“The SDLP deputy leader now needs to categorically state if she stands with the community against these criminal gangs in the face of a campaign of threats, intimidation and attempted murder.”
