Crowe disappointed that Ibrahim Halawa's trial has been postponed again
Sinn Féin's spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Seán Crowe TD, has stated his concern for Ibrahim Halawa after his trial in Egypt was postponed again.
Deputy Seán Crowe said:
"I am very concerned for the health and well being of Ibrahim Halawa.
"He has been in jail for over 600 days and faces no prospects of a fair trial in Egypt.
"I again call on An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, to contact directly the Egyptian President with a view to securing the release of Ibrahim Halawa and allow his safe return to his family in Dublin."
