McCorley urges people to have their say on Irish language act
Sinn Féin MLA Rosie McCorley has urged the public to have their say on the public consultation on the Irish Language Act.
The Sinn Féin Irish language spokesperson said;
"The consultation launched by Culture Minister Carál Ní Chuilín is an opportunity for the public to help shape Acht na Gaeilge.
"Many people have already taken part and I would like to commend Conradh na Gaeilge and other organisations for assisting people in making their responses.
"The consultation is open for another week and I would encourage as many people as possible to take part and submit a response in order to make their voice heard.
"The consultation can be accessed on http://www.dcalni.gov.uk/index/quick-links/consultation.htm. and I would urge people to make a submission before it closes."
