Archibald welcomes plans for Ballykelly DARD HQ
Sinn Féin's Caoimhe Archibald has welcomed the release of detailed plans for the new Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Headquarters in Ballykelly.
The East Derry candidate said;
"Agriculture Minister Michelle O'Neill today unveiled plans for the new £20 million Department of Agriculture and Rural Development headquarters in Ballykelly.
"This state-of-the-art building will be an asset to the local area and provide an excellent service to our farming and agricultural community.
"It will also provide much-needed employment in the local area, both in terms of the construction and when the staff of the new headquarters relocate there.
"This development is a fantastic boost to the north west and the Limavady and Ballykelly areas in particular.
"The relocation of the DARD HQ to Ballykelly is further evidence of Sinn Féin's commitment to decentralise public sector jobs and we will continue to champion further decentralisation across the North."
