Sinn Féin will advance peace process despite threats – Adams

6 May, 2015 - by Gerry Adams

Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams TD has said Sinn Fein will not be deterred by bomb threats and attacks on the family homes of party activists.

His comments follow a bomb warning to his family home in west belfast this morning.

Mr Adams who is attending the Arbour Hill ceremony for the leaders of the 1916 Rising said:

"In recent weeks there has been a concerted series of threats and attacks on the homes of Sinn Féin members.

“There can be no place for these type of actions nor will they deter Sinn Fein from working to advance the peace process and advance our political objectives.

“Sinn Fein will not be intimidated.” ENDS/CRÍOCH
