O’Brien wishes students well in exams
Sinn Féin Education Spokesperson Jonathan O’Brien TD has today wished students beginning exams this week the very best of luck.
The Cork North Central TD said:
“I would like to wish all students beginning their exams this week the very best of luck.
“The Leaving Cert and Junior Cert are tough tests for students who have been preparing for them the past two or three years.
“Many students are seeking high points and are competing for hard-to-access courses, while attending schools that have been ravaged by cuts.
“Some students with learning disabilities have been denied extra exam supports and others are undertaking exams while studying in overcrowded homes or direct provision services.
“They deserve our full support, and I wish to commend the students for the work they are doing for these exams and the very best for the future.”
