Grants scheme now available for Ireland's Ancient East tourism initiative - Sandra McLellan TD
Sinn Féin TD Sandra McLellan has welcomed the launch of Fáilte Ireland's New Ideas in Ancient Spaces Capital Grants Scheme. The scheme is aimed at encouraging the development of compelling visitor experiences throughout Ireland's Ancient East.
Deputy McLellan said;
"Youghal and East Cork have a great deal to offer visitors as part of the Ireland's Ancient East tourism initiative, especially in the areas of cultural, architectural and natural attractions.
"The New Ideas in Ancient Spaces Capital Grants scheme provides an opportunity for applicants to invest in attractions and innovations that will ensure that the initiative is a success.
"I am encouraging those who are developing visitor experiences to explore the possibility of making an application for the grant.
"It is also important that prospective applicants engage with Fáilte Ireland as the earliest stage of development prior to submitting the application.
"The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Monday July 13th.

This scheme opened this week on June 12th 2015 and application forms may be requested from [email protected] . Prospective applicants are encouraged to discuss their proposal with us here in Fáilte Ireland at the earliest possible stage of development before submitting an application. Completed applications must be submitted by 12 Noon on Monday July 13th 2015 to [email protected]
