Positive and decisive leadership required - McGuinness
Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness has said positive and decisive leadership is required to resolve the current difficulties facing the political institutions.
Mr McGuinness said;
"Sinn Féin is opposed to any moves to adjourn or suspend the political institutions at the behest of the unionist parties.
"It would also be a grave mistake by the British government to give in to threats and ultimatums made against the political process.
"For our part, Sinn Féin has a strong record of standing firm and opposing all threats to the peace process, regardless of what quarter they come from.
"The way to resolve the current difficulties we face is through dialogue.
"We need an end to the sham fight between the unionist parties which is all about narrow electoral rivalry.
"The parties need to get back around the table tomorrow, showing the positive and decisive leadership to find a resolution to the outstanding issues affecting the political process."
