Mayor Holland opens book of Condolences for those killed in Carrickmines fire
Mayor of South Dublin County Council Sarah Holland opened a book of Condolences this morning for those killed in the tragic Carrickmines fire.
“The scale of devastation will scar those families involved for years to come.
"We as a community must stand behind those affected and support them in any way possible.
"A book of condolences is just a small gesture, but it will allow people to show solidarity and express their grief at what has happened.
"We will also be holding a minutes silence at the outset of our council meeting as a mark of respect to those who have passed
"I would ask everyone to remember them all in their thoughts and prayers
"The book is open in county Hall, Tallaght for the next week.”
