Clarke condemns those behind north Belfast security alert
Sinn Féin councillor Mary Clarke has condemned those responsible for a security alert in the Cliftonville Road area of north Belfast.
Councillor Clark said;
"It’s my understanding that a suspect device has been found at Linden Gardens off the Cliftonville Road."There is currently disruption to traffic and some residents have been asked to move from their homes."This is a quiet residential area close to local schools and shops."This incident is causing disruption and is being taken seriously."Regardless of whether this does prove to be a viable device, those responsible must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
"We hope that this matter can be dealt with as quickly as possible and that local residents can get back to their homes."
