McCann meets PSNI to discuss concerns of Twinbrook residents
Sinn Féin MLA Jennifer McCann has said the PSNI have agreed to put a policing plan in place to deal with the issues of anti-social behaviour which arose at the weekend in Twinbrook.
Speaking after meeting the PSNI this morning, Ms McCann said;
"We had a constructive meeting with senior PSNI representatives this morning to discuss what happened at the weekend in Twinbrook.
"At the meeting we raised the concerns of local residents about the response from the police.
"The PSNI listened to our concerns and have undertaken to put a policing plan in place to deal with issues like those which arose at the weekend when a crowd of youths caused serious problems for local residents.
"They also gave a commitment to work closer with community and political representatives in future.
"Sinn Féin will continue to support local residents to ensure they get the policing service they deserve."
