Gun attacks must stop – Sheehan

20 November, 2015 - by Pat Sheehan

Sinn Féin MLA for West Belfast Pat Sheehan has said there is no room for gun attacks in our society and they need to brought to an end immediately.

Speaking after three men were shot at on the Monagh Road today Mr Sheehan said:

“This is the second shooting in as many days in West Belfast. They need to stop immediately.

“Both these shootings were reckless acts and both endangered life. There can be no room for these gun attacks in our society.

“It is too early to state whether these attacks are linked but whoever thinks they can take guns onto the streets and put our communities at risk is wrong.

“Anyone with information should take this to the PSNI before we are dealing with a death on our streets.”
