Racist hate crimes cannot be tolerated - Kearney
Sinn Féin’s National Chairperson, Declan Kearney, has slammed those behind a racist attack on an Indian family in Antrim Town.
Speaking today Mr Kearney said:
“This racist attack against the Philips family is a disgrace. I condemn it in the strongest possible way. Our thoughts and support are with the family at this time.
“This family were lucky to escape without injury as their car was set alight at the side of their home.
"There can be no place for racism or racist hate crimes in our society.
"Those who carried out this attack have nothing to offer the community.
"I would urge anyone with information on this attack to bring it forward to the PSNI to ensure those responsible can be brought to justice and taken of our streets."
