Andrews calls for a full audit of all buildings in Docklands area
Sinn Féin Dublin city councillor Chris Andrews has called for a full audit of all the buildings in the Docklands area in order to establish if there are any more potential Longboat Quays.
Cllr Andrews said:
“The necessity for an audit is twofold.
“Firstly we need to investigate if there are any more structural faults and secondly those in the Docklands whose buildings have no issues need to be given a clean bill of health in order to protect their value.
Cllr Andrews continued:
“Bernard McNamara must follow through on his alleged commitment to pay the full costs for the remedial works in Longboat Quay. The DDDA and the tax payer should not be forced to pick up the bill.”
