Cllr Holland Welcomes Public Consultation on Grange Road Cycleway Improvements

5 January, 2016 - by Sarah Holland

Mayor of South County Dublin, Cllr Sarah Holland, has welcomed the launch of the public consultation on improvements to the Grange Roads cycle paths and walkways.

She said

“The plans look exciting, and there is a lot in them.  Part of the plans involve a new plaza at the Sarah Curran Avenue entrance to St Enda’s Park.

A great deal of preparation has gone into these, including tree surveys and a road safety audit.

A Part 8 is essentially a public consultation, which can’t be effective without community participation.

I would urge people to have a look through them, and send in submissions.”

The plans are available to view online, at Whitechurch and Ballyroan libraries and in the council offices.

The closing date for submissions is 10th February.
