PSNI should apologise in person to Hampson family – Raymond McCartney

26 January, 2016 - by Raymond McCartney

Sinn Féin Justice Spokesperson Raymond McCartney has called on the PSNI to apologise in person to the family of Gerard Hampson

Mr McCartney said:

“There are many aspects of the Gerard Hampson case which raise serious concerns about the actions of the PSNI and their conduct in relation to the manner in which the Hampson family have been treated.

“I have asked my party colleagues on the Policing Board to raise these concerns with the Chief Constable.

“I believe that the PSNI need to show respect to the Hampson family and apologise to them personally.”
