Theft of computers an attack on entire community - Logue

3 February, 2016 - by Anne-Maire Logue

Sinn Féin Councillor Anne Marie Logue has said that the people who broke into St Joseph’s school Antrim have deprived an entire community of much needed facilities.

 Councillor Logue said,

“I was totally dismayed that over 50 laptops and computers have been stolen from St Joseph’s school Antrim during the night.

“These laptops and computers are essential in the teaching of our children who have now been deprived of much needed equipment.

“St Josephs School like all schools are facing tight budgets and are now having to look at replacing this equipment and repairing the damage to the school.

“Not only is this an attack on the school but is an attack on the entire community who use the school.

“I would appeal to anyone who has any information or is offered a computer or laptop in suspicious circumstances to report  it immediately to the PSNI.”
