Burton’s attacks ‘increasingly desperate’ – Donnelly
Sinn Féin Councillor and candidate for Dublin West Paul Donnelly has accused Tánaiste Joan Burton of making bizarre attacks on Sinn Féin as she becomes increasingly desperate to save her seat.
Speaking in response to Joan Burton’s comments today, Cllr. Donnelly said:
“Yesterday, Labour was exposed as getting their figures wrong on the economy and making promises that they could not deliver. While this approach may have worked in the last election, it is clear that electorate now see through labour.
“In a bizarre attack, the leader of the Labour criticised Sinn Féin proposals for greater tax fairness and stood up for high earners. This is the same party that supported the introduction of water charges and the family home tax.
“It is clear that the Labour leader is becoming increasingly desperate to save her seat.”
