McCorley slams West Belfast bomb disruption
Sinn Féin MLA Rosie McCorley has stated that those who were responsible for two explosive devices found in in West Belfast need to come forward and explain their actions to the community that they have disrupted and placed in danger.
Speaking today Ms McCorley said”:
“Those behind the leaving of two explosive devices in Ramoan Drive and Glencolin have endangered this community.
“These are two residential areas with many families and elderly living in them.
“Of course those behind these devices and those who purport to speak for them politically will not come forward and explain their rationale - they never do.
“Instead they continue to cause disruption to our communities, the same communities that have widely rejected these actions.
“They need to listen to what the people are saying and that is very clear. There is no place in our society for acts such as these."
