SDLP clearly in a panic - Ó Muilleoir

3 May, 2016 - by Máirtín Ó Muilleoir

Sinn Féin's Máirtín Ó Muilleoir has said the SDLP are clearly in a panic ahead of Thursday's Assembly election.

Mr Ó Muilleoir said;

“As we move into the final days of the election campaign, it is clear that there is panic in the SDLP.

“Their manifesto has been exposed as an uncosted and undeliverable attempt to con the electorate.

“These are people who come from the Gerard Diver school of economics.

“Their leader has yet to decide if the party will be at the Executive table in a couple of weeks time.

“Instead what we see today is an increasing shrill reaction of the SDLP to the positive, and progressive leadership of Sinn Féin.

“Sinn Féin has produced a costed, realistic and deliverable manifesto.

“Sinn Féin will be at the Executive table to implement our manifesto.

“We will stand up for those in need, we will stand up for jobs and growth and we will deliver our commitments to third level education.

“Claire Hanna needs to make clear will the SDLP take a seat at the Executive table or give up on their manifesto promises and walk away from their responsibility.”
