Expressions of sympathy on passing of Jack Boothman - Adams

Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams TD has expressed his condolences on hearing the news of the passing away of Jack Boothman, former President of the GAA.

Teachta Adams said:

“I am saddened to hear of the passing of Jack Boothman this morning. He did great work during his time as President of the GAA and long-time involvement with the association.

“Jack played a pivotal role in overseeing the redevelopment of Croke Park and the advancement of the GAA in the mid-nineties, and used the office to reach out to people across the island of Ireland and beyond.

“I want to extend my sincere condolences to his friends and family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.”
