Kelly condemns Belfast shootings
Sinn Féin MLA Gerry Kelly has condemned recent shootings in Belfast and called for anyone with information to bring it forward to the PSNI.
Speaking after leading a Sinn Féin delegation which met with the PSNI, Mr Kelly said;
"This murder and the other shootings in Belfast in recent days were appalling and I condemn them in the strongest possible terms.
"We met today with the PSNI to discuss their response to these events.
"We as public representatives have a responsibility to show leadership in communities and come out and condemn these attacks.
"There is also an onus on the PSNI and they have said there will be an increased visibility and presence on the ground.
"Those responsible for these attacks are at war with the local community and need to be brought to justice.
"Anyone with information on any of these incidents needs to bring it forward to the PSNI."
