“I would like to wish all students the very best of luck with their exams today. A lot of hard work has gone into the preparation of these exams over the past few years by students and teachers alike, and I hope that students will succeed in doing their best.
“I would like to say that while these are undoubtedly very important exams, they are not the be all and end all. This is a very stressful time and students must be given every possible support to ensure that they can approach these exams as much calm and confidence as possible.
