Crowe extends his condolences after the murder of Jo Cox MP
Sinn Féin TD and spokesperson on Foreign Affairs Seán Crowe has extended his condolences to the family of Labour MP Jo Cox who has passed away after she was attacked outside her advice clinic.
Deputy Crowe said:
“I want to extend my personal sympathies and condolences to the family and friends of Labour MP Jo Cox.
“Her brutal killing, just after she finished an advice clinic in her constituency, is a deeply worrying and disturbing development.
“I understand that Ms. Cox had a deep commitment to humanitarian issues and that she worked both for Oxfam and anti-slavery charity the Freedom Fund before she was elected as an MP in 2015.
“My thoughts are with her loved ones at this difficult time.”
