Sinn Féin also received a nomination for the Best Parade Entry 2015.

Nominee Michelle O’Neill MLA said:

“It is an honour for myself and the Party to receive nominations for the Belfast Pride Awards.

“Over the past number of years Sinn Féin have been very successful with previous winners including Cllr Mary Ellen Campbell, Megan Fearon MLA, Caitríona Ruane MLA and Maírtín Ó Muilleoir MLA.

“Sinn Féin is committed to ensuring the rights of all citizens in Ireland and will continue to campaign for marriage equality across the island.” ENDS/CRÍOCH
