There is no place for racism in society - McMullan

11 September, 2016 - by Oliver McMullan

Sinn Fein MLA Oliver McMullan has called on the PSNI to investigate the distribution of racist literature in the Larne area.

The East Antrim MLA said;

"I have been contacted by constituents from Larne who were extremely concerned after receiving racist literature through their door from a group calling itself Ulster Awake.

"These racist and hate-filled leaflets are sinister and concerning and will doubt cause cause fear in the community.

"There can be no place in society for racism, intolerance, discrimination or intimidation and such attitudes must be challenged wherever they arise.

"I will be contacting the PSNI and calling on them to investigate these leaflets and those responsible for them."
