Anderson to speak at public meeting on Brexit in Tyrone
Sinn Féin MEP Martina Anderson will speak at a public meeting in Omagh on Friday evening to discuss the potential impact of Brexit on agriculture.
Speaking ahead of Friday night's meeting in Creggan, Ms Anderson said;
"There is widespread concern among the farming and agricultural community about the potential impact of Brexit.
"I travelled throughout the North and have spoken to many people involved in the agriculture and agri-food sectors.
"There is a great deal of anxiety about the future of the industry, particularly in terms of funding, if Britain presses ahead with its plans to drag the North out of Europe.
"I will be speaking at a public meeting organised by Sinn Féin in the Creggan Community, Omagh on Friday at 7pm alongside my party colleague and fellow MEP Matt Carthy.
"I would encourage as many people as possible to attend to discuss their concerns and make sure their vote to remain is respected."
