Executive working to deliver key projects - Maskey
Sinn Féin MP Paul Maskey has said the Stormont Executive is working daily to delivery important projects across the North.
The West Belfast MP said;
"Executive ministers have been working hard to improve the lives of people across the north on a daily basis and have used ministerial direction to do that.
"Instead of trying to grab headlines, maybe People Before Profit would tell us what they would like to take the money used for these projects away from?
"Do they object to £8.8m being spent on gritting roads and winter maintenance? Or £5.2m on Mencap or the Hospice locally? Or £5.2m for road and street light maintenance? Or £4.3 million for hardship funds for farmers?
"Ministers make ministerial decisions and show leadership in doing so; that's what they have been given a mandate from the people to do."
