Joined-up planning for all-Ireland infrastructure network needed - McAleer
Sinn Féin MLA Declan McAleer has said there is a need for joined-up planning for an all-Ireland infrastructure network.
The Sinn Féin Infrastructure spokesperson said;
"We need to be be actively planning ahead on an all-Ireland basis to ensure we have an infrastructure network across the island that is fit for purpose.
"A recent joint report from IBEC and the CBI called for an all-Ireland transport strategy and stressed the need to plan for a modern, prosperous island of ten million people.
"This report is a welcome part of the debate around all-Ireland infrastructure planning for the future.
"I have written to both IBEC and the CBI calling for a meeting with myself and Senator Padraig MacLochlainn to discuss the report and how we can advance it and take it forward."
