Seeley encourages public engagement with consultation meetings

6 December, 2016 - by Catherine Seeley

Sinn Féin MLA Catherine Seeley has welcomed the announcement from Health Minister to hold a series of public meetings in January 2017 on her proposals for radical transformation of the health service.

The Sinn Féin Health spokesperson said:

“We are embarking on a time of major change in Health and Social Care (HSC) in the north and the public meetings are a sign of Health Minister Michelle O’Neill’s commitment to engaging with the public.

"This will give as many people as possible the opportunity to have their say on the future of our health and social care service.

"Everyone has a part to play in the transformation of the health and social care system and I would encourage people to come along to the meetings and make their views known.”
