O'Neill urges public to vote for hope over fear

28 February, 2017 - by Michelle O'Neill

Sinn Féin’s Leader in the North Michelle O’Neill has urged the electorate to vote for hope over fear when they go to the polls on Thursday.

Michelle O’Neill said.

“This election is not about orange and green issues or the politics of fear. It is about the future.

"It is about sending a clear message that we are not prepared to tolerate a massive financial scandal, which was created, controlled and covered up by the DUP.

“It is about accountability not arrogance.

“In this election, we have an opportunity to fix what is wrong.

“We aren't just choosing who will be in the new administration. We will be deciding how that administration will work.

“And for us any new institutions must be based on equality, integrity respect and the implementation of agreements.

“We are about the politics of hope, not fear. That is how we fought the election.

“And that is how I will lead my team into the negotiations.”
