Sinn Féin TDs, MPs and MEPs to meet in Dublin to begin preparations for General Election
Sinn Féin's TDs, MPs and MEPs will meet in Dublin tomorrow, Friday 24th, for the first in a series of meetings to begin preparations for the next General Election. This is the first time the party's Parliamentary representatives from both sides of the border have met since the recent Westminster election when five Sinn Féin MPs were elected.
The meeting will also discuss efforts to get the peace process back on track, the campaign to secure northern representation in the Oireachtas and the demand for a full, public independent inquiry into the murder of Donegal Councillor Eddie Fullerton in 1991.
Gerry Adams MP and Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin TD and Mary Lou McDonald MEP will be available to talk to the media at 10am at the gates of Leinster House (Kildare Street). They will be accompanied by the party's TDs, MPs and MEPs. ENDS
