en and to show some transparency.
"Across the six counties Sinn Féin representatives are standing shoulder to shoulder with trade unions in opposing the cuts to the Education Library Board budgets and the cuts to vital education services including threatened job cuts for classroom assistants and lollipop men and women.
"Sinn Féin has had various meetings with the British Minister for Education Angela Smith and has expressed the party's disgust and objection to the Government's Budget Slashing Programme that has resulted in such devastating cuts to school services.
"It is essential that we collectively display our opposition through protests such as this and it is also important that we confront the Minister responsible while working towards securing a new Assembly with local Ministers." ENDS
