Boyle encourages applications for the 2019/20 Minority Ethnic Development Fund
Sinn Féin MLA Michaela Boyle has encouraged applications for the 2019/20 Minority Ethnic Development Fund.
The West Tyrone MLA said:
“The Minority Ethnic Development Fund (MEDF) provides support for voluntary and community organisations working with minority ethnic people and groups to assist them in promoting good relations between people of different ethnic backgrounds.
“The funding will be split into three tiers, guidance notes for applicants, which explain the tiers and the criteria for funding in more detail and the application form can be downloaded, on the website www.executiveoffice-ni.gov.uk/articles/racial-equality#toc-3.
“A number of funding seminars have also been arranged to provide further information on the process for potential applicants, they will be held on the following dates 26 February in Holywell DiverseCity Community Partnership, 10-14 Bishop Street, Derry at 11am, 27 February in Craigavon Civic & Conference Centre, Lakeview Road, Craigavon at 2pm and 4 March in NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast at 2pm.
“The closing time for all applications is 2pm on 21 March 2019.”
