PwC Report into National Children’s Hospital must be published without delay – Jonathan O’Brien TD
Sinn Féin deputy spokesperson for Finance, Public Expenditure & Reform, Jonathan O’Brien TD, has called on the Government to immediately publish the PwC report into the cost overrun at the National Children’s Hospital.
Speaking this morning, the Cork North-Central TD said:
“The government must release the PwC report immediately once it has been brought to cabinet.
“The cost overrun at the National Children’s Hospital was a result of flawed governance and management from beginning to end, starting and finishing with the Minister for Health.
“This report by PwC, which will cost over half a million euros, must be released in order that both committees and the Dáil can scrutinize its findings and hold those responsible to account.
“Any delaying tactics by the Taoiseach to control the message will not be tolerated. The report must be published.”
