Ombudsman Greenvale investigation must be thorough and robust - Molloy
The Police Ombudsman’s criminal investigation into PSNI officers responding to an incident at the Greenvale Hotel must be thorough and robust, Sinn Féin MP Francie Molloy has said.
The Mid Ulster MP commented:
“The Police Ombudsman will conduct a criminal investigation into the conduct of five PSNI officers responding to an incident at the Greenvale Hotel on St. Patrick’s Night.
“The priority must be establishing the facts around the tragedy that unfolded that night resulting in the deaths of three young people.
“The heartbroken families of the three young people are entitled to answers through a thorough and robust investigation. This must now proceed.”
