McAleer expresses condolences on death of Patrick O’Hagan

Sinn Féin MLA Declan McAleer has expressed his condolences to the family and friends of Patrick O’Hagan following his death.

The West Tyrone MLA said:

“The community is devastated to learn of the passing of Patrick O’Hagan.

“Patrick endured so much suffering and hardship in his life from witnessing the brutal murder of his mother Kathleen in their family home when he was a child, the sudden death of his father Paddy and the tragic deaths of his brother Niall in a motorbike accident and Tomás in a fire as well as the untimely passing of other members of his close family.

“Despite everything that Patrick endured he was always positive and had a smile on his face.

“Everyone is heartbroken that he has passed away so young and I would like to pass on my sincere condolences to his brothers Damien and Raymond and all the members of the O’Hagan and McPeake families at this time.”
