Adams wishes Olympians good luck

Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams MP speaking after attending the opening ceremony of Special Olympics this evening along with many party colleagues including Martin McGuinness MP and Michele Gildernew MP and a number of Sinn Féin Assembly members praised the efforts of all those involved and the hard work in putting the Special Olympics together and congratulated the families of the athletes for their efforts.

The Sinn Féin President especially wished good luck to all of the athletes participating in the competitions.

Mr Adams said:

"All of those taking part are an inspiration.

"I wish them all good luck and I am sure win or lose they will have a great time." ENDS
