Arson attack on Orange Hall was wrong - Sinn Féin
Sinn Féin assembly member for Upper Bann, John O'Dowd, has said that an overnight
arson attack on an Orange hall at Kilmore, outside Lurgan, was wrong and
unacceptable.
Mr O'Dowd said:
"Sectarianism,
irrespective of its source or who or what it is directed against, is wrong
and I have no hesitation in condeming this attack.
"Those
involved need to desist from this type of behaviour. The overnight arson
attack on Kilmore Orange Hall was wrong and serves no purpose other than to
create and heighten community tensions. Regardless of whoever was behind
this, the reality is that such actions are totally unacceptable and should
stop."ENDS
