Sinn Fein comments on Strabane shooting
Sinn Féin Cllr Jarlath Mc Nulty, commenting on the shooting of a 19 year old at Fountain Terrace in Strabane early this morning said,
"There is shock in Strabane at this incident, especially given the fact that such incidents are now virtually non-existent, not only in Strabane, but in republican/nationalist areas throughout the six counties.
"This has come about because there is now an almost unanimous realisation within our communities that so-called punishments attacks do not provide any long term solution to the problem of anti-social activity but have often been proven to be counter productive. ENDS
