Sinn Féin Councillor's Home Attacked
Lagan Valley Sinn Féin Representative Councillor Paul Butler has said he is in no doubt that loyalists were responsible for last nights attack on his home.
Cllr. Butler said:
"At around 11pm last night some sort of device was thrown from a passing car at the front of my home. This is the same address to which loyalists recently posted a bullet.
"I have no doubt that this attack is a response to Sinn Féin's ongoing efforts to highlight sectarian attacks in Lisburn and Dunmurry and our campaign against discrimination on Lisburn City Council.
" While these attacks are clearly very worrying, particularly for my family, I will not be deterred from continuing in my work in Lagan Valley." ENDS
