Maskey hits out after South Belfast bomb discovery
South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has hit out at those who left a bomb in South Belfast's Primrose Hill area. Mr Maskey was speaking after what has been described as a 'crude but viable' device was discovered this morning.
The South Belfast MLA said,
"This device is being described as 'crude but viable'. The fact that such a device was left in close proximity to a residential area highlights the careless disregard that those who made and left this bomb here have for the people of this area.
"I would call upon anyone involved in this type of activity to desist." CRÍOCH
