Dáil time set aside for statements on Omagh bomb
Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams has welcomed a commitment from the Government to allow time in the Dáil this Tuesday for statements on the bomb attack in Omagh which killed PSNI officer Ronan Kerr.
Time will be set aside after the order of business on Tuesday following contact from Sinn Féin today.
Mr Adams said:
“It is important that the political representatives in the Dáil are afforded the opportunity to express their condemnation of the murder of Constable Ronan Kerr.
“For that reason Sinn Féin contacted the Government today and I welcome its commitment to allow time on Tuesday.” ENDS
