Sinn Féin lobbying for Ballycastle Wi-Fi delivers
North Antrim Sinn Féin MLA Daithí McKay has welcomed the announcement that funding will be provided by DSD for free WiFi in Ballycastle.
Speaking today mr McKay said:
"I have been lobbying for free WiFi in Ballycastle for tourists and locals since it was announced that Portrush would get this service almost two years ago.
"Since then I have lobbied DSD and my party colleague Cara McShane has worked with officers in Moyle Council to make this a reality.
"This funding of £12,287 will be matched by Moyle Council and will ensure free Wi-Fi at the seafront and Diamond areas.
"Sinn Féin is keen to ensure that Ballycastle is not left behind when it comes to tourism development on the north coast and this is indeed great news for the town."
